    听力原文
    (Text 1)
M: Today is Tuesday. Am I supposed to meet Linda tomorrow?
W: No, the day after tomorrow.
    (Text 2)
M: Ah-oh, I burned your bread. I’ll put in a couple more slices.
W: No, don’t waste the bread. Just cut off the burnt part. It’ll be fine.
    (Text 3)
M: Here. Take a picture of me in front of that painting.
W: You can’t take pictures in a museum.
M: No one’s watching. Hurry up.
    (Text 4)
Mum, Josh and I are going for a walk. Do you want to come?
W: No, thanks, honey. But take the dog. I should’ve taken him out this morning. He needs a walk.
    M: Sure. Good idea.
    (Text 5)
W: I saw a good band at last Saturday’s rock festival. The singer was great!
M: The band with the piano player?
W: I didn’t see anything with a piano. This singer was called Queen Cat. She could really dance, too.
M: Oh, I know who you mean—the band had three guitars.
    (Text 6)
M: Hi, I’m sorry I’m late. ⑥There was a traffic jam near the bridge. Cars were backed up for miles.
W: That’s OK. I tried to call your mobile phone, but you must’ve turned it off. Our fight has been delayed by 3 hours.
M: Oh, it must be because of the thunderstorm. It’s pouring outside.
W: Yes, but the weather should clear up by this evening, and at least now we’ll have time to get something to eat. I’m hungry. ⑦⑧ Let’s go get some lunch.
    (Text 7)
W: Jack, I’ve got the photos of New York here. Would you like to see them?
    M: Yes, I would.
W: Do you remember the first day? ⑨ Here’s Tony getting off the train and waving.
M: Ah yes. And this one must be outside the hotel. There’s Anna with her suitcase.
W: That’s right. ⑩ This is in the restaurant on the first night. That’s Sara at the head of the table.
M: Did you take any photos of the museum we visited?
W: Yes. Look, here’s Kelly talking to a museum guide.
M: ⑾ The museum was very good, wasn’t it? So was the art gallery we went to.
W: Yes, ⑾ it was. Here’s a picture of Mike at the art gallery. He liked it so much that he didn’t want to leave!
    (Text 8)
M:Well, I often have a sleep during the day.
    W: You do? Where?
M: Uh, sometimes I sleep here in the library.
W: Right here? ⑿ No way! How do you do that?
M: Well, if I’m really tired, I find a quiet desk, and I just put my head on my books and go to sleep. I usually sleep for an hour.
W: Are you serious? Do you wake up in time for class?
M: Yeah, I have an alarm clock.
W: An alarm clock? ⑿ In the library? You’re kidding!
M: It doesn’t ring, so it doesn’t make any noise.
W: Oh, that’s good. Anyway, ⒀ can I ask you a question about our maths homework? I don’t really understand this one problem…Where is it? Oh, here it is. ⒁ Yeah. Adam? Adam?
    (Text 9)
M: So, Katie, tell us about these English camps.
W: Well, this one is the Surfing English camp on the Bondi Beach in Australia. I really like it because of the great activities programme they have.
    M: Will it be dangerous?
W: No, Dad, it’s not dangerous. There will be lifeguards and trained instructors there.
M: Well, the camp isn’t that expensive, really. However, ⒂ there are not as many English classes as I would expect.
W: OK, then take a look at this one— ⒃ The Language Ranch in Colorado, in the Unite States. What do you think?
M: This programme has a lot more English classes and the activities look great. I think it’d be a really good experience for you to go horseback riding in the mountains. It looks quite good, actually, ⒄ except for the price. It’s never going to be cheap to go to the United States, I think we need to think about it for a while.
    (Text 10)
M: Good morning, everyone, and thank you foe coming to our presentation. Today, I’m going to tell you about the result of the research we’ve been doing for the last two years. As you know, our project was about people’s ideas about the best age to get married. During our research, we gave surveys to 4,100 people across the country in 12 cities. We found that there were big differences in the answers given by men and women. The average woman said that the best age for marriage was 28, while ⒆ the average man said the best age was 23. We were very surprised by these results. In our future research, ⒇ we’re going to interview some of these people to find out the reasons for their answers.
