73. Bancroft Community students will live in apartments or in a house, cooking their meals, washing their own clothes, and learning to perform other tasks. Gradually as they become able, they will buy their own furniture, paying for it out of their own earnings. They will pay rent and pay for their food, too. As a step towards the goal of becoming independent, each disabled person will decide what kind of work he wants to be trained to do.
