高考网汇集整理《高二英语阅读:The Show must go on》 The Show must go on TAIWANESE entertainer Show Luo is everywhere: he hosts talk shows, performs concerts, stars in TV dramas and now, he talks about his rocky road to stardom in his photo book, Show On Stage (《罗志祥进化三部曲》). The book hits stores in January. So how did Luo manage to develop his multi-talents? What is he like in real life? Teens recently had an exclusive interview (专访) with the pop star. Teens : How do you do so many jobs so well? Luo: I changed from a singer to a host and then lost all my jobs four years ago. But when my last chance came, I promised myself: I will not be beaten! That's why I cherish whatever job I do now. ?I devote myself to doing every single job to my best - I never want to be labeled as being mediocre (平庸的). Teens : How could you be so talented? Do you have any tips? Luo: I love to learn by myself. When I was a child, I learned to play the drums by tapping the bottles and cans in my home. Then I watched videos to study dancing. As for the piano, I figured it out by remembering my teacher's basic finger moves and then I practice by myself. However, to be a professional artist, I can't just acquire a skill by hours or weeks of practice. I have to study things systematically. Teens : It's said that your English has improved a lot. What's your method? Luo: Being the spokesperson for the American film High School Musical 2, I had to sing its English theme song, Bet On It. My English was really poor so I had to work very hard on the pronunciation of every single word. To improve, I found my high school English textbook and practiced the dialogues over and over again. However, I'm reluctant to trouble my English teacher Jolin Tsai now. She wants to chat with me in English, so I don't want to bother her with easy words such as "table" or "chair". (责任编辑:admin) |
