Ⅲ.词语辨析 1.match，suit，fit 这三个词都可表示“适合，配得上”，但用法上仍有差别。 (1)match指“相配。配得上”，指人或物在品质、颜色、设计等方面相当或相配。 e.g.The carpets should match the currains. 地毯该和窗帘相配。 She was wearing a brown dress with hat and gloves to match。 她穿着一件棕色的衣服，并有帽子和手套相配。 . (2)suit常用于指“适合、中意。合适、恰当”，多指符合需要、口味、性格;条件等。尤其用来指衣着的式样、颜色或发式与人相配。 e.g. It doesn't suit you to have your hair cut. 你不适合剪短发。 Does the coat suit me? 这上衣我穿起来好看吗? A good teacher should suit his lessons to the age of his pupils. 好老师授课应力求适合学生的年龄.
